The 3GS I thought I’d have by today isn’t actually shipping until tomorrow. Which means, given the expedited shipping, won’t arrive until Friday 10/02. However, I won’t be home this day so I’ll have to wait until Friday night or Monday (assuming FedEx is closed on the weekend) to pick it up.
This wait actually wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’ve been having SO many issues with my current 3G (after installing the 3.1 update) that I can’t take another day of it. Since I’m under a nondisclosure agreement with Apple, I don’t believe I can talk about the issues I’ve been having. However, the 3GS is a welcome upgrade — especially since I’m getting it for free from Apple! It just sucks cause I was expecting it today based on the Apple Order Status site. I contacted Apple and it’s actually not shipping until tomorrow morning.
So I’m just ranting. =/
UPDATE (09/30 6:27pm PDT): I just got an email from Apple and can expect my package tomorrow 10/01 since it was shipped out this afternoon! Nice surprise!! =)
